Drinking too much water at night may interfere with your sleep. You may be required to wake up quite often to urinate.
* Don’t go to bed immediately after dinner
There should be a time gap between the time you have your dinner and the time you go to bed. This will help you to sleep better. Going to bed immediately after dinner will make your body to be battling with digestion instead of rest.

Chocolates are not very good food to be taken at night if you want to sleep well because of the high level of caffeine in them. Caffeine affects our ability to sleep well. Salty foods such as crisp and salty nuts are not good to be taken before bedtime. Too much salt dehydrates the body causing water retention. This may lead to tiredness and fatigue.

Foods like watermelon, celery, and cucumber, and any food containing too much water may wake you up at night.
